Landscape Planning and Garden Design Monsoon Gardens Resort Landscape by Stephanie Wang The Marriott Resort landscape design exemplifies the experience of the Monsoon in Coorg by transforming the site’s rain water into climatic responsive water features. The design plays off the rain; channeling, storing and transforming the runoff from the site into ponds, cascades, waterfalls and fountains. When the Monsoon arrives, the guests not only sense the rain through smell, sight and sound, but experience the excitement of watching the resort turning into a magnificent water garden.
