Interior Space and Exhibition Design LHM kindergarten kindergarten / nursery school by Moriyuki Ochiai Architects LHM Kindergarten is an interior design for a nursery school in Tokyo, Japan. The 230 square meter space holds three rooms, two Lake rooms and a Hill and Mountain room. Stainless steel mirrors cover the ceiling of the Lake rooms and reflect the changing natural light and the children at play. A green hill can be used as seating for a concert, a stage for a play or a stand for an exhibition. Colored furniture can be climbed, used as chairs or entered like a cave or a cabin. Color gradations on the walls follow tones drawn from nature.
