Interior Space and Exhibition Design The Hive Residential House by Andy Tan The design was based on creating a concept base on honeycomb. The challenge had to create a space that blend the surrounding together and not overwhelmed the materials usage. Living room was designed in such that the idea leads to the kitchen with an open concept idea. The chipboard wall was built to highlight the house with an unique finishes, creating a calming mood overall. The function of the chipboard wall also served as note board. To create the honeycomb effect, creative selection of the special cut hexagon tiles were placed at entrance.
