Interior Space and Exhibition Design Both Boutique & Music Vinyl Record Bar & Cafe by Tomohiro Katsuki Both Boutique and Music is a retail interior project in Red Town, a former ironworks in Shanghai that is now a sculpture art district. The scheme covers a boutique of 370 square meters and a music store of 170 square meters set over two levels. The design is built on the idea of contrast between Western and Eastern, old and new, and static and dynamic. The boutique is treated as a bridge that brings goods from around the world, while the music store is arranged around the act of focusing. The surrounding art park setting is retained to encourage exchange among local residents.
