Neumatt Sports Center

Architecture, Building and Structure Design Neumatt Sports Center by Evolution Design Neumatt Sports Center is a three-pitch sports hall in Strengelbach, Switzerland. Inside, green, yellow, red, orange and blue are used both as decoration and as a navigation system, and changing rooms are identified by color instead of numbers. The glazed upper level uses capillary glass that brings daylight deep into the hall and reduces glare. A geothermal heat pump heats the building in winter and cools it in summer, so air conditioning is not required. The rendered base carries a pattern of sport icons.
