Interior Space and Exhibition Design The Architect’s House Apartment by Alonso de Garay This project is an answer to what an architect’s house is like. It is an apartment where family affections and a life philosophy are placed in a diagram. The project gives priority to primary building materials, wood and concrete. It is a masculine concept, sober and protective. Here, small children have their own apartment, while under watch and company of their parents. Also, the architect and his wife have areas for sharing but also intimate spaces. This one-story home is filled with symbolic allusions and references to the architect’s craft.
