Interior Space and Exhibition Design The Past Residential House by Andy Tan An elapse in time, buried deep in our memories, until someone shines a light on it. In the midst of modernization and technology advancement, we tend to forget the simplicity of life. This design was created with the intention of sharing with the world a part of Singapore's past. As we go way back to the days of our ancestors, making use of materials and elements that brings out a nostalgic feeling. Cement flooring, an island table made entirely out of mosaic tiles, the old school chalkboard wall, wire mash cabinet doors, even an old rice sack was recycled as a floor rug.
